Senior Support Services-CPHC is a non-profit community governed organization that provides community support services to seniors.  Our Vision, “To be the leader and provider of choice offering innovative, responsive, and quality services to enable seniors to live independently in their homes and communities” is strongly supported by the Board of Directors.  We offer a broad range of client-centered services throughout Leeds & Grenville and some areas of Lanark County with a Mission to “promote choice, independence, and safety for seniors and their caregivers”.  Our Lifeline Program (personal security monitoring) also serves the City of Kingston and surrounding area.

The Board of Directors is seeking applicants who have an interest in improving the health and well-being of seniors in our communities.  Ideally, the candidates will have experience in one or more of the following areas, although others are welcome to apply:

      • Fundraising
      • Hands-on knowledge & experience working with seniors
      • Volunteering with Seniors
      • Caregiver for a senior family member/friend/neighbour

The Board meetings on a monthly basis with a minimum of nine (9) meetings per year.  Directors are expected to join one of the Board’s sub-committees which also meet monthly, i.e. Quality Committee, Finance/Audit Committee, and Governance Committee.  Director terms are two (2) or three (3) years.

Interested candidates should be 18 years of age or older and be a resident of the geographical areas we serve, i.e. Lanark, Leeds or Grenville Counties, Kingston & surrounding area).

Senior Support Services-CPHC services are supported by the South East Local Health Integration Network, the United Way of Leeds-Grenville, and by the people and the communities we serve.
